You asked for it..! So here it is. It's been a long time since we had a day devoted to 1-2-1 sessions so we're about to put that right. Saturday 19th May is when we'll be hosting our Purple Party Night aimed at providing a safe and welcoming freestyle environment for New-2-Blues dancers, and so we're going to use this opportunity to offer personalised teaching sessions throughout the day. In the words of the infamous Cher... Welcome to Burlesque! Our Burlesque themed Freestyle Event - to be exact! A night devoted to corsets, feathers, heels, gloves and suggestiveness... And that's just the guys! Seriously though, we're looking forward to dressing up, acting up and playing up to all that is Burlesque. After such an amazing time at our first Blues Retreat - we definitely want to do it all over again! So for those of you who enjoy a little long term planning - here's a date to get on your calendar! A laid-back luxury retreat, for all those with a passion for Blues and expressive, interpretive dancing... This weekend is not to be compared with mass market events currently available. It's nearly time for our next Purple Freestyle and I'm already lining up my purple stuff, trying to decide what to wear! We've had a lot of new-to-Blues people trying out our classes and workshops lately and I'm really keen that they, and everybody else, feels confident and comfortable coming along to, what might be, their first Blues-focused freestyle.
